This bar is very close to our apartment and the menu del dia is great. I especially like the scrumble fried egg as a starter and also the Wednesday cocido(usually they have it on this day). Tarta De Santiago is equally nice. Basically, you will get really full. Two things I don’t quite like: first, their menu del dia price has increased from 12 Euro to 18 euro ; secondly, the male bartender constantly check and ensure you pay for something before you can use their toilet. I mean, it’s perfectly fine and legit, but the feeling of being watched is not that great. Overall, I would give this place a B+ for menu del dia. The other staffs are efficient and nice.

Great tapas bar close to our apartment. For breakfast we tried the potato omelette + bacon and eggs with coffee. All inexpensive. Clean, prompt service and helpful happy staff. Highly recommend.

My favorite place to eat, drink, and relax in Madrid. I would travel to Madrid again just to eat here! Excellent staff who are extremely welcoming and kind. The best chocolate cake in the world, too!!

My wife and I had a good dinner with its tapas menu. The manager was extremely helpful to ensure we had good dinner. The menu was basic but the food ( vinager anchovy, paella, fish of the day, fried squid) was delicious accompanied with a bottle of good house wine (Verdejo). A good honest and non-toursity place to eat frequented mainly by locals

Nice local place that we found by chance. We had the daily menu for $16 and it included a drink and coffee or dessert. Everything was amazing as well as the service by Rosa. Will return whenever we are in the area. Tha is a lot.
